COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
M&L provides technical support to local, county, and state governmental grantees who receive federal funding in the form of Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) and Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) assistance from HUD.
We specialize in the preparation of documents for submission to HUD such as the annual consolidated plan, performance reports, environmental review records, and analysis of impediments to fair housing. M&L’s provision of these services eases the burden on local practitioners, permitting client staff to focus on the successful and timely implementation of local projects and the day to day administrative requirements of the program.
Beyond the preparation of documents for submission to HUD, M&L provides a variety of ongoing technical support services that our clients utilize on an as needed basis. These services are primarily designed to assist grantee communities in complying with the complex requirements of the CDBG, HOME. and ESG Programs.
M&L has been involved with HUD’s CDBG, HOME, and ESG programs since their inception. Our services have been retained by metropolitan cities, urban counties, and participants in the Small Cities program. Our expertise and background in the technical aspects of these HUD programs is unsurpassed.
