Marjorie Williams is a
certified planner who works out of M&L=s Pittsburgh office. She was
employed by M&L from 1991 to 1994, and returned to work for the firm in
2004. Ms. Williams is experienced in CDBG, including the preparation of
annual action plans and CAPERs. Ms. Williams is an expert in HUD’s
Continuum of Care homeless programs.
Ms. Williams has been
practicing planning in West Virginia since 1995 and served on the
Legislative Subcommittee created in 2003 to draft the new State planning
enabling legislation. Following its adoption in 2004, Ms. Williams
presented at several statewide seminars and conferences where she
explained the new provisions and their implication for planners,
attorneys and elected officials. Ms. Williams has worked with several
West Virginia communities – Morgantown, Weirton, and Charleston – that
are the first to draft and adopt new regulatory ordinances under the
2004 legislation.
Before returning to M&L, Ms.
Williams was a Senior Planner with Benatec Associates. She also served
as Planning Director for Putnam County, West Virginia.
